Testing Zbrush new Zmodeler for the first time! I was finally able to get my hands on the new Zbrush update and the new tools for box modelling are just fantastic! They are easy to use, you can work in clean geometry an you get add softness to your tools using the new Dynamic subdivision tool. It gives you a preview of the subdivisions just like pressing 5 in Autodesk Maya and seeing your low poly on soft mode.
I’m making the Bomsom 6000 concept by Greg Broadmore for the game Dr. Grordbort’s VR/AR. It’s a fun retro steam punk rifle! I love his designed and i thought it would be great to make so I can learn all the new tools of the Zmodeler and how to integrate then with Zbrush old tools.
The final renders and textures done in Quixel Suite. Also an amazing program! Love rendering this! The materials look amazing and its really easy to create new materials or combining multiple materials into amazing new looks.
